During the past few months, Melba Swintex has had its Traffic Cone range put through tough and vigorous testing. These tests have been conducted by BSI, the national standards body of the United Kingdom, to the technical standards set out within their publications, these of which are recognised globally as the definition and guidelines of all Temporary Traffic Cones. Its now official we have the BSI Kitemark™ for our range of cones.

Our Starlite roadcone was brought out as a lighter, more economical road cone than its heavier counterparts the Mastercone and Bigfoot roadcones. As a road cone manufacturer this gave our customers a great choice of light, medium and heavy roadcones suitable for all types of roads and weather conditions. Sales of the Starlite have steadily grown over the years but showed a 33% increase in 2014 compared to 2012. The Starlite cone is a two piece cone, with it’s centre manufactured from virgin HDPE, and base from recycled PVC. The cone is 100% recyclable and is fitted with the Melba Swintex high performance prismatic Starlux® sleeve.
